Dana El Soufi El Sabbagh Bachelor

My academic journey has been a dynamic exploration of pharmacology and neuropsychiatric research. Starting with a solid foundation in pharmaceutical sciences during my undergraduate years, I delved into advanced coursework in drug discovery, pharmacokinetics, and medicinal chemistry. This paved the way for my current pursuit of a Ph.D. in pharmacology, focusing on the intersection of neuropsychiatric diseases, mitochondrial health, and drug effects. I’ve honed my research skills through hands-on laboratory experiences, investigating the intricate mechanisms of drug actions on neurotransmitter systems, neuroinflammation, and mitochondrial function. As a third-year Ph.D. student, I’ve not only contributed to the academic discourse through publications and conference presentations but have also assumed leadership roles, mentoring undergraduate students and guiding them through laboratory protocols. My academic journey is marked by a passion for understanding the complexities of pharmacology, a commitment to advancing knowledge in neuropsychiatric disorders, and a dedication to cultivating the next generation of scientists.
