Alex Mu M.D. B.Sc.Hons.
Alex Mu is a fourth year trainee in the field of Anesthesiology at the University of Toronto. He obtained his medical degree also from the University of Toronto, and a honours bachleor of science degree from the University of Western Ontario. Having first delved into research with human molecular genetics during his studying in undergraduate, he realized the importance of scientific advances in the field of medicine. His current interest in the specialization of chronic pain stems from this interest and the ample opportunity for research in the field. There is much to understand regarding the often ambiguous pain states, the basis of novel treatments for such conditions, and the unique individual responses to new interventions. In the future, Alex would enjoy a practice where both innovation and up to date care are provided. Outside of his work, Alex also enjoys travelling the world and playing tennis.
