Viivi Riis BScPT, MSc
Viivi graduated with BScPT in 1979 and in her clinical career worked largely in the area of musculoskeletal trauma and pain. Over the past 20 years she has specialized in post-MVA rehabilitation, offering policy research, analysis and training to private insurers as well as to health care professionals (OT, PT, chiropractors, massage therapists MDs, RN, etc). She has been recognized as an expert in physiotherapy and rehabilitation matters in the Nova Scotia Supreme Court and continues to be engaged in clinical and policy issues related to management of acute and chronic pain.
